Contemporary Revamp of the 100th Store of a Beverage Joint

As the 100th store opening of Chai Point, this outlet in Indiranagar was designed to pave the way for a new brand identity that catered to modern India. The brief aimed at creating an inclusive, warm and welcoming experience. Chai is an intrinsic part of Indian culture and the store was to reflect this cultural sentiment.

Spatially, the design aimed to bring visual connect into the store from the street, therefore creating a street-side interface. The courtyard spaces and seating arrangement were created for an environment that could deliver snug or casual settings while enjoying the charming Bangalore weather.

The visual appeal of the store was curated to be global yet Indian, encouraging customers to walk in and enjoy a high street experience. Locally sourced granite paired with copper and glazed Athangudi tiles were used to elevate the otherwise minimal aesthetic of the store.
