Experience Store for Indigenous, Organic Business
Go Native is an indigenous brand in Bangalore, that is eager to promote a lifestyle of eco-consciousness and sustainable living. Their store was to be a place that celebrated locally made products in the food, apparel and personal care industry. This involved a complete overhaul of a bungalow in Sadhashivnagar, one of Bangalore’s more affluent neighborhoods.
Beruru – a garden shop and Oorja, a sustainable lighting company were also major players for retail space within the store. This meant that different sections had to follow varying requirements in terms of layout, colour scheme and overall aesthetic.
Metal arches and shelves filled with potted plants greet you as you enter the store via its beautifully redeveloped garden space. The ground floor also has an activity area for hosting events where we finished the walls in natural plasters in soothing earthy tones. Naturally available materials were used as much as possible. The rest of the floor is filled with crafted knick-knacks. Sleek and modular shelving units maximized display space while also providing flexibility to move around their in-store setups, that change with seasons.
Various installation areas within the store equips them to showcase their brand values, providing a cohesive line of thought and design throughout. The interiors of the store certainly provide each customer with a vivid idea behind the store’s concept, not just through representation of their products but seamlessly reflecting the store’s ethics in its interior layout.
